Important Pointers for Notice Writing
- Draw a box.
- Write the name of the school, organisation or place.
- The date will appear on the left side below the name of the organization
- The word notice will appear in the centre.
- The title/heading will appear in the centre below the word notice
- The body of the notice should include:
- The name of the event
- The day and date of the event
- The time and venue of the event
- Other information related to the event. For example, whom to contact, registration, participation, name and designation, etc.
- Remember to keep the following W’s in mind. What is going to happen? Where? When? Whom to contact?
EX - You are the secretary of Green village Housing society,Palam Vihar, Kurnool. Write a notice for the residents informing them about the suspension of electricity for 2 hours.
